The short answer
- Travel to Island 2.
- Go to the bottom of the tree and find the guns and dynamite area.
- Look directly below that equipment for the replacement radar purchase point.
- Return to the main menu normally after recovery to trigger a save write.

Island 2 recovery route

Reach Island 2 and move toward the large tree.

At the tree base, identify the guns and dynamite equipment area.

Check the lower position directly beneath that equipment.

Use the replacement radar purchase point, then confirm the radar appears in your inventory.
Make the recovery persist
After the radar is back, exit through Save or Main Menu rather than closing the process. Patch 1.0.6 says both options write the save, and the game also autosaves every minute.
If the radar is not there
Reload the island once and verify you are checking the equipment area at the bottom of the tree. If it remains absent, include your game version and island state in a bug report; do not assume deleting the save is the next step.
