The short answer
- Pick up three Leeches walking on the ground around Island 2, then give all three to the woman by the lake.
- Equip the Modified Leech she returns and cast into the lake only after buying healing, ammunition and several dynamite sticks.
- Keep moving in a wide loop and clear the small piranhas before they surround you.
- During the aggressive phase, place lit dynamite near the boss to damage it and remove nearby minions at the same time.
- Give the Piranha Skeleton to the woman to add the next island coordinates to the Radar.
Find three Leeches and get the boss bait
The Leeches are one prerequisite inside the Giant Piranha task, so they stay on this page instead of becoming a thin standalone collectible route.

Search the ground around the Forest Island rather than fishing for the Leeches.

Pick up three and bring them together to the woman sitting beside the lake.

Accept the Modified Leech and keep it in the bait slot until the arena is ready.

Control the minions before focusing the boss
The boss bite is dangerous, but the repeated blocker in player reports is being boxed in by the smaller piranhas. A clean arena matters more than holding damage on the boss every second.

Cast the Modified Leech into the lake and move immediately toward open ground.

Run a wide circle so the Giant Piranha and smaller fish approach from the same direction.

Use dynamite for the aggressive phase
An exact Steam discussion and the current IGN route both point to dynamite as the quickest solo answer. If you prefer firearms, keep the same crowd-control order and accept a longer fight.
